The bridge underwent extensive rehab in the early 2000s, opening back up as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge in May of 2008. Spanning 1800 foot across the Arkansas River, the bridge connects Little Rock’s Riverfront Park with North Little Rock’s North Shore Riverwalk Park and the north and south sides of the Arkansas River Trail.
